Kim Victoria Cattrall, born August 21, 1956 in London, is a British and Canadian actress. She was best known for her role as Samantha Jones on the HBO show Sex and the City. In this role, she was awarded the Golden Globe Award for 2002 for Best Female Supporting actor. Between 2008 and 2010, she reprised the character in the film Sex and the City and Sex and the City 2. Her most prominent roles include Police Academy, Big Trouble from Little China Mannequin, and Porky's from the'80s. Kim Cattrall is most often associated with her popular HBO sitcom Sex & the City, in which she portrayed Samantha Jones. A noted actress Cattrall's performance as Samantha Jones has been a significant event in her career. It was not only a hit with the audience within her country of birth and made her a global star. Anita Ekberg...................Anita Ekberg was a Swedish actress who appeared in several European as well as American films. She's best known as the actress that played La Dolce Vita in the movie comedy drama. The film that was awarded both an award, the Golden Palm Award and an Oscar in the year 1960 at the Cannes Film Festival and also had a great critical and commercial success, was also awarded the Oscar. Prior to her first acting gig as a model, she worked as an Swedish model. She eventually won the Miss Sweden contest. As she moved to the US and appeared in numerous films as a small part before her professional career took off. She was the role of Venusian Guard in Abbott and Costello Go to Mars which was her debut part in a credit part. The film was later awarded the Golden Globe award in the most promising newcomer category following being featured in the movie Blood Alley.
