Miley Ray Cyrus's actual name is Destiny Hope Cyrus. Born on November 23rd, 1992, in Franklin Tennessee the state of Tennessee, she was born at Thompson's Station Tennessee by Tish Cyrus. She has five siblings - two half-brothers, a half-sister and an older brother and sister. Her parents named her because they hoped she would achieve greatness. Miley became her childhood name Smiley because of its cheerfulness. Her father was an influential Democratic politician who was named Ron Cyrus. Cyrus began her education in Heritage Elementary School in Tennessee. Her family relocated out of Tennessee and into Toronto Canada in the year she turned eighteen years old. Billy Ray Cyrus took on a part in Doc (2001), starring the TV show. Cyrus made the decision to begin acting at that date. In Doc (2001) the actress performed alongside her father. Her first appearance was as the father of Doc (2001). Cyrus performed the role of Hannah Montana on Hannah Montana (2007), a Disney TV series about the life of a girl who has an alternate life of a star. Her father was once again with the show. The show went on to be a huge success. Tours that sold out and contracts for merchandise followed. Cyrus was a teen-sized star. Cyrus started to play other roles following the success she had as Hannah Montana (2006). These included playing Ronnie Miller (in The Last Song 2010, 2010) as well as Lola (in LOL (2012)) along with Demi Moor.
